Website Restructuring and Content Migration: Adjustments to the Site’s Information Architecture

To improve content discoverability, the site has restructured its information architecture: six content types (news and ideas / research reports / experts / events / projects / academic resources) each have their own archive. This entry explains the migration.

Note

The site centres on a research institution’s public information and divides content into six categories: news and ideas, research reports, experts, events, cooperation projects and academic resources. Related content previously scattered across pages is now organised into unified archives by category for easier searching and tracking.

What has changed

  • News and ideas: institutional updates, research news, commentary and announcements are unified in the news centre, ordered by publication time.
  • Research reports: a new report database entry point supports filtering by research field, region, output type and year.
  • Experts: expert profiles have their own archive, labelled with research expertise and affiliation.
  • Events: events are shown in “upcoming” and “past” sections to avoid mixing information.
  • Projects and academic resources: separately archived, with resources labelled by licence and version.

Impact on readers

Where previous content addresses have changed, redirects are retained wherever possible. Some pages may be updated briefly during migration; this page and each archive serve as the reference. Readers who find broken links or misplaced content are welcome to report them via the contact page.

Next steps

Following the restructuring, the Institute will continue updating each archive under its established editorial standards. Formal content will follow the Content Production and Citation Standards, ensuring clear labelling of facts, sources and versions.

Sources and version: this is a site notice; version v1.0 (2026-09).
